I'm a fan of incremental games and as 6am6yk said: "Pretty bad"
The pacing's awful from the start. Ascension's pretty bleak. people go from 30s cooldown to 27 to 15 and it's WILD when the next level is just -1second cooldown and the price is like 10% more expensive. Be consistent. The next type of person is something you don't look forward to because you have to make a lot of math. You have SCREENS! USE THEM!!! Make the screen display $/second -> This way you don't have to do 4 calculations each time you want to compare A or B. Screens should show stats of conveyor belts, stats of the current item (because you have no way of knowing what you're producing on each belt. you can buy the first level of ascension and then the one that's on the corner of that "tree". Speaking of which, the ascension tree is more like an ascension pebble. It's incredibly small.
Spend some time playing other incremental games and time how often you reach landmarks. First ascension, next item type...
I'm assigning half a star because I just lost time playing this unfinished game and I'm writing this here

Thanks for playing the game!
Everything you said the game lacks is on the way as I said in the blog and other comments. However, I'm not making Cookie clicker, and if you expect that then this game is not for you. It's not supposed to be this huge game that you can play for days. At least I complete it for about 5 hours. And that's intended. It's a small indie game. I'll add more events, more skills in the ascension. But it's never gonna be huge.

Bad review for the single fact that you're trying to pass this off as novelty. No mention of forager whatsoever even though it's a blatant ripoff

Island-Of-Mine responds:

I'm sorry that you feel so negatively about the game. The inspiration for the game comes from games like Dreamdale, Animal Crossing, Forager and Stardew Valley. I would appreciate constructive criticism. If you have any ideas on how to improve something, please let me know.

Lovely entry to the jam. Using corpses to walk on spikes reminded me of old school gaming. If there's room for improvement, I would add a confirm button for when you want to exit a level with the escape key or a level selector

BRUH, the dragon's laser swipe attack does not obey the sound config, scared me shitless when I had low volume

Is this based on sword fencer musashi? Great game!

Yword responds:

It's one of my favorite games of all time, that's why I chose the name Lumina! Thanks!

I know the tracks by heart

Went to comment that it's a bit too easy and scrolling down I found that you can right-click to cast an ice spell. It has a lot of potential to become a succesful 20 minutes til dawn clone

good smol game. I'd say shrines are broken. In the three difficulties I felt like in the third stage, I was getting a lot of coins (around 10 per battle) and finding a shrine meant I was like leveling up x3. But I loooooooooooooove resources you can use on multiple scenarios. I almost never used perception checks in battles, tho. Didn't need to. By the third stage I one-shotted everyone with a 7-mana global bonk, paint's debuff and whoever wasn't stunned would get bonked harder by leader.
I'd say that assigned goblins could be used to train skills, maybe? That way, you earn that broken 7 mana global bonk.
In the map, I happened to see a way, but was unable to click to the destination. So I was forced to go through a trap :c (Not against places you can peek but not reach, but I believe it was the second zone, if you stick to the left. I know it wasn't intentional).
For the tutorial, I'd make an arrow button you have to click for it to move to the next page, since clicking anywhere can make you skip on info.

Great concept, I would love to see this saga expanded!

I appreciate the follow but I got to be fair: What the hell is this game? The controls are too laggy to excuse the precise movement required to beat the levels. I got to level 7 by pure willpower. Level 5 I can excuse, a bit of trial and error to see which platforms drop. Level 6 is unfair and annoying: Invisible platforms is a big no-no in level making.
Music can get a bit too repetitive, but it was a good choice. Is it from gloom?

Takaz-Apps responds:

Hello my friend I’m really sorry that this is your opinion about the game, please let me explain a few things maybe you will change your vision:
- When I create the game I want it to be one of the hardest games ever
- If you search on YouTube you will find the full gameplay in only 3 min and 42 sec, and I have a friend who likes difficult games and he need just 3 min and 10 sec to do the speed run
- In the description of the game I wrote : only if you like hard games
- I really think you are misjudging the game and all the hardwork I spent on it
- Compared to so many games on the platform I think it deserve more than 1star
- Please think again about your vote my friend because it’s my first game and this will make me so sad and disappointed

It reminded me of the outpost levels in wild9. Great music, but idk about the loop. Instructions unclear, though: To avoid obstacles, the camera should avoid obstacles, not the cursor.

Mantis1 responds:

I haven't heard of that game, but I can see the resemblance!
